Gi Group partners with Elixir, Indian company leaders in RPO with also prominent presence in Executive Search and Contingent Hiring.

Gi Group enters the Spanish market with the purchase of GestJob, company operating in the sector of temporary labour.

Gi Group enters the Brazilian market with the purchase of S&L Recursos Humanos, a group of 3 companies operating in the sectors of research and selection of temporary labour and promotional marketing.

Its presence in France is inaugurated with the opening of affiliates in Moulins and Le Plessis Belleville. Gi Group continues its internationalisation process, approaching China with two important joint ventures in Beijing and Shanghai in the sectors of research and selection of personnel and temporary labour, and with the acquisition of a Hong Kong company specialized in providing personnel for specific time periods.

MPS Italia has born, society of the Group specialized in the executive research. German job agency Mumme GmbH buyout, present in Germany with 20 branches. Gi Group records a billing fot the year 2006 of 500 million of Euros.

Gi Group has born, the first Italian group for the job market development and present in Italy with Générale Industrielle, WorkNet, Gi Research, Gi Formazione and DBM Italia.

February 2005
Générale Industrielle acquires 49% of DBM Italy Srl, market leader company in the outplacement sector. In October 2005 the stock majority is acquired.

December 2004
Générale Industrielle acquires the control of WorkNet, agency for the job of the group Fiat. The new business reality becomes the first Italian operator, with with a 320 million of euros billing and 190 branches on the entire national territory.

With the September 30 th 2003 276 decree law, enacting the 30/2003 Law (Biagi reform), the Treu law is repealed and it sets out the reform of the market of the job.
